“Here for a corn hole tournament at the Casino. This place was perfect for a get away. We loved relaxing on the porch, the great view and the hot tub! A great way to get away from the hustle and bustle. I'm already planning to get friends together for a girls weekend! Everything was perfect! "

“ My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Cherokee Timber Lodge. The view was great and the log cabin secluded. The property is very serene and quiet. We enjoyed the panoramic view sitting in rocking chairs around the fire pit in one of the gazebos on a crisp fall night. We also took advantage of the beautiful view from the hot tub in a second gazebo. This was the setting and amenities that we came for.
The location was incredible, we were minutes away from a very nice grocery store, convenience stores, a good variety of excellent restaurants and unique shops. We took advantage of several scenic hiking trails nearby. In Cherokee we visited the Indian Reservation and museums. The wives enjoyed spending time at the town’s large Casino. We also took a day trip to the Smoky Mountain National Park through the Oconaluftee entrance which was about a 15 minute drive from the cabin.

The only negative? We didn’t see any bears. Others who’ve stayed here, had written in the cabin log-book, about their sightings of black bear from the property. Hopefully next time we stay here we’ll see one."
